Recently, the name of Emtek's CEO, Alvin Sariaatmadja, was widely discussed after his decision to buy 10% of Lecce's shares. Next season, Lecce will be one of the promoted teams that will play in Serie A.

This news began with the alleged involvement of Raffi Ahmad, an Indonesian celebrity. Initially, it was suspected that Raffi had flown to Italy to complete the signing of the Lecce share purchase contract.

It is rumored that one of the owners of Lecce will sell a 10% stake in the club based in the province of Apulia. This opportunity was then taken by Alvin Sariaatmadja, the Emtek boss who took a breakthrough to invest.

Italian football fans are certainly familiar with Lecce, one of the old clubs in Italy which was founded in 1908.

Alvin said

Alvin's decision to become part of the club has been considered very carefully. In the latest press conference session, he admitted that he saw many similarities between Lecce and Indonesia.

Alvin saw the passion for football was so high at Lecce, just like the fans of Indonesian football.

"It is an honor to be a part of this story. I am very happy to be with this family with new friends here," said Alvin.

"Lecce has always been a special place for me for its beauty, its people, its traditions, its incredible food. From some point of view, it resembles Indonesia."

Develop into a big club

The presence of Alvin as one of the owners of Lecce will certainly catalyze the name of the club from Apulia. Lecce will be better known in Indonesia, more supporters, of course the club's development will be accelerated.

"We are happy to be able to promote Lecce and its football thanks to my friend, Raffi, and we will do everything to make Lecce more known," continued Alvin.

"We want the Giallorossi to become a bigger and bigger club, of course while learning from experience."

"I'm very aware of how passionate the people are here and I'm so proud to be a part of this project." /Source: Italy24
