Jurgen Klopp insists that his team is ready to fight for Liverpool in the 2021/22 Champions League final versus Real Madrid, even though his team has to undergo a tough schedule until the end of the season.
Liverpool did until last week still have the opportunity to wipe out the four trophies available this season. The Reds only lost to Manchester City in the Premier League title race in the last weekend.
This is in contrast to Real Madrid, who had quite relaxed preparations for the final because they had locked the La Liga title in week 34.
Jurgen Klopp's reaction
Mentioned about the significant difference in the comparison of his team's preparation with Real Madrid, Klopp also admitted that his opponent was slightly more advantaged.
"That makes it more difficult [Liverpool's crucial schedule]. What did Madrid win four weeks ago?" Klopp told BT Sport.
"A little rotation, good weather in Spain, playing here a few minutes, playing there a few minutes."
"In that moment we really did everything, we played cup finals, all Premier League games are cup finals we have to win. That's okay." he said.
Liverpool enthusiasm
Despite Liverpool's extraordinary fatigue at the end of this season, Klopp insisted that his team will show a sense of crazy enthusiasm in the final later.
"Usually the reason nobody wins that many trophies every season is because it's so difficult," Klopp said.
"We're looking forward to it, I couldn't have had more energy. It's unbelievable, we're here, we want to do it and we're doing fine. We'll take the team out and give them an absolute fight." /bola.net
