Rumors that Jay Idzes will move clubs this summer don't seem to be coming true any time soon. The Indonesian national team defender is still included in the Venezia squad for Serie A 2024/2025.
As is well known, Venezia succeeded in being promoted to Serie A. They managed to win the Serie B playoffs and managed to return to the highest caste of Italian football.
Jay was one of the players who was instrumental in bringing Venezia back to Serie A. He appeared tough at the heart of Venezia's defense so that I Lagunari could be promoted from Serie B.
There is news that Jay has the potential to move to Torino in the summer of 2024. However, it seems that this rumor will not happen in the near future.

According to media from Turin, Toro.it, Idzes is one of Torino's transfer targets this summer.
Torino is known to have changed head coach. Ivan Juric was replaced by Paolo Vanoli in the 2024/2025 season.
Vanoli is the coach who brought Venezia promotion to Serie A. So he reportedly wants to bring several of his players to Torino, one of which is Idzes.

However, in the near future, it seems that Idzes' transfer to Torino will not happen.
Venezia, through their official website, has released their squad list for the upcoming 2024/2025 season. So far Jay Idzes' name is still on the list.

So in the near future, Jay Idzes will report for Venezia's pre-season and will not move to Torino or another club.

Even so, there is a chance for Idzes to move to Torino this summer.
